AJIL Unbound has published a symposium entitled "Unauthorized Military Interventions for the Public Good". The symposium includes a contribution by Prof. Dr. Erika de Wet, SARChI Professor of International Constitutional Law entitled, ‘Reinterpreting Exceptions to the Use of Force in the Interest of Security: Forcible Intervention by Invitation and the Demise of the Negative Equality Principle’.

Martha Bradley (third from right in the photograph above), a doctoral student affiliated with the SARChI Professorship in International Constitutional Law was one of only four recipients of the prestigious Hague Academy of International Law Doctoral Scholarships for 2017. Martha Bradley is an LLD candidate and non-resident SARChI associate at the Institute for International and Comparative Law in Africa, University of Pretoria.

The SARChI Professorship in International Constitutional Law in the Faculty of Law of the University of Pretoria currently has Postdoc positions available for individuals in possession of a doctorate in law (LL.D).

 

Martha Bradley has received a prestigious doctoral scholarship from The Hague Academy of International Law. This scholarship will allow her to travel to The Hague and conduct research at The Hague Academy of International Law for a period of two months, commencing in July 2017.
